Red Church

I've been busy the last couple of weeks with getting my new flat so I'm behind on posting pictures here and on Flickr. I'm almost caught up now and I'll put up pictures of the flat this weekend.

Komenského náměstí (Komensky square) is relatively small but this is where the Red Church is. And yes...it gets its name from the red bricks.

This neo-Gothic Evangelic cathedral was built between 1863 and 1865 as the first non-Catholic church in this European region.

  1. Chris, I'm impressed your not lazy and switch back and forth between English and Czech on your blog so you can put in the hachek (sp?) marks. I'm too lazy on my blog.
